These people are so full of themselves. They believe that the press pool is a group of their reporters all sitting around waiting for news to materialize in front of them. The press 'pool' is an individual reporter (and perhaps photographer) who are on standby after hours who will get the story and/or pictures and share them with the others the following day. So I don't know how much one protection an 89 pound blonde from Kansas can do to save the President-elect's life if a bunch of BLM thugs decide to change history by assassinating the President-elect.

...and in other news tonight, we're hearing from the Protective Cesspool that they have once again, been dismissed by President Trump. This time, President Trump was found to be sneaking off to take son, Barron, for a quiet "boys" weekend at Camp David. Vice President Pence has informed us that, yes, the Secret Service is with President Trump and Barron, and that they will most likely be hiding behind trees while the President and his son roast marshmallows and discuss the next boy scout badges on Barron's list, and how he will go about achieving them in a Bigly Trump manner.
