helluva a first day

Our illustrious new President had a helluva a first day....well day and a half I guess.

First there was that horrid speech before a comparatively empty Mall. Where were all the diehard Trump supporters? All the "tens of millions" who supported him at rallies (by beating up those who had different opinions)? All we were told all week long was about the throngs of people coming from around the country...where were they? The bikers who were going to be a "wall of meat"? Oh...we did get treated to the wonderful supporters who chanted "Lock her up" when Ms. Clinton arrived and who yelled "Trump! Trump! Trump!" during Mr. Schumer's speech. How American...how patriotic...what a wonderful way to introduce our new President to the world stage.

Then he goes to the CIA and makes another horrid and, yes, deplorable, set of remarks before a wall that honors those who gave their lives for the country...people who lost their lives in anonymity. Instead of honoring them...hell instead of even referring to them...our great pompous ass decides it is appropriate to lie about how many people showed up at the inaugural, lies about his tweets regarding the US intelligence community, what the weather was like and what the reviews of his speech were like. Now maybe some will see it as ironic that the President stood in the CIA and lied....but those will be the ones who refuse to see reality of what Mr. Trump is.

While he was at the CIA, protestors filled the street to stand in opposition to Mr. Trump's words. This was not some organized band of malcontent breaking windows who were out on Friday. This was families, people of all races and religions, men and women who came out for no reason other than to make their voices heard. This wasn't just some dope smoking kum-bi-yah crowd beating drums and chanting on the Ellipse. No this was people in all 50 states...some crowds were massive...this was people around the world...though not surprisingly there were no marches in Russia. Was that because protest marches are forbidden or because they are still laughing so hard at the election of Mr. Trump that they can't get off the floor?

Then to close yesterday, there was the wonderfully eloquent statement by Mr. Spicer. Does he reach out to the protestors? Does he reach out to the world? Does he do anything to calm things down. Nope. He instead channels the master he serves by being bitter, angry and lying.

What a day. What a buffoon.

You all who voted for him must be just so proud.

Yeah - most of what OTHER people did because they don't like him.

Most of the protests are over things they fear he'll do but in reality, won't do any of them.

When you start out with a lie, there's no need for anyone to continue reading your nonsense. It's already come out that the pics the lying ass Trump hater media were putting out were early shots before the crowds started coming in. Later photos show the Mall jam packed with people.

I can only presume there were more lies to follow in your screed, so thanks for tipping me early. :yay:

TJ forgets. I was there.

Basically, I saw the crowds grow in the section I was in from being able to turn around and see fairly well all the way to Constitution Ave. - (about 8am) to not being able to see anything behind me (except people) at high Noon, because of the hordes of people.

250,000 tickets were available for the west Capitol grounds where I was. (MY tickets were specifically for the North Standing section - see map below) The entire West side of the Capitol was filled to capacity and even overflowing onto the sidewalks and street.

Multiply that out across the various sections of the mall.

the left ALWAYS screeches any 'rally' or gathering by people other than progressives are 'small' , nobody showed up, minimal ....
while using close in shots to make H+ campaign stops look larger than they were ...

this is one reason why the National Park Service no longer issues attendance measurements

TJ should apply for a job at the Onion or maybe Saturday Night Live.

That #1 post was a dilly. The crowds next day were supported by George Soros and his money
A pack of idiots going to DC to spread the ex Nazi's message.

And the left had Madonna blowing up the White House. The rest - well, much worse. And yes there were protest and a few injured policemen.

The WEATHER. Good grief, did he say there was a hurricane or something? Hundreds of thousands were there. I don't doubt there were more at Obama's - it was historic - but the pics were specifically cherry-picked to make it look small and have been disproven. The numbers who watched online and on TV worldwide are the biggest, and it should come as no surprise due to technology.
