Guinness is building a brewery in Baltimore County

Top o’the Tuesday morn: Guinness is coming to southwest Baltimore County.

The company plans to build a midsize brewery modeled after one of the top tourist destinations in Ireland, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Dublin. A Guinness visitor experience will also be part of the project.

It will be the first Guinness brewery to open in the U.S. in 63 years.

I don't see how 'merica is ever to be great again if the 'in' thing is to drink dank, warm English beer.

I read an article (didn't read the one posted, sorry) that said they would not be brewing the classic Guinness Stout at this brewery, that will remain in Ireland. This brewery will be dedicated to other Guinness brews and possibly even branching out with some new brews. It still sounds good to me. Will be worth a trip once they are open.

I used to. I don't drink much these days and totally lost my taste for Corona. It's a great beer for when you're having more than a bunch of beers. :beers:

Well, we grow as we age......... more than two is a rare night, more than three, been maybe a year or so. Which reminds me, gotta bottle the Chestnut Brown Ale tomorrow.
