Snowflake Rubio

There's a lot of congress critters, from both sides of the aisle, that are avoiding town halls. When the town halls are reduced to a crowd acting like an unruly group, then what purpose does it serve? If people are there only to disrupt and not actually get answers or legitimately interact, then why should the congress critter give them a stage? There is no upside to having to combat people deliberately disrupting an event.

When that is your job's #2 priority (the #1 being begging for money daily) it doesn't matter if there "is no upside". It just comes with the territory and if you can't handle it: resign.

This ain't rocket surgery.

Well since you don't know the job, we're going to give your opinion a big old pass.

So, if a Senator has a town hall to discuss constituent concerns and there is a portion of the crowd (possibly not even constituents) shouting down the Senator and not allowing discussion about those concerns, then it is a rather fruitless exercise in futility. Let's face it there's a certain portion of the citizenry that doesn't understand that shouting down someone they may disagree with is not always acceptable in normal situations. I'm not saying that elected representatives should be placed on a pedestal, but there should be a certain amount of decorum when interacting with them.

The simple solution would be to toss out agitators, and if they don't go quietly have them arrested. What's so hard about that?

It seems to come down to that free speech thingy. But, the left doesn't believe in free speech, unless they are the ones free 'speeching'. Hypocrisy, anyone?

Just so I understand... Because a bunch sniveling, juvenile, 'snowflakes' didn't get their way this last election, they're going throw a temper tantrum at every GOP town hall; this makes Rubio the snowflake?

Given what we've seen from you, I can understand how you'd come to that twisted logic.
