I had the original artist's version of Hot Rod Lincoln, from the 50s, on a 78 RPM plate. Burned up with the rest my extensive collection of 78s and the Victor Talking Machine that I played them on.:nomoney:

I spent hundreds for nights at Psych with my ex listening to the music, slickee boys, nighthawks, rootboy slim, rent's due, Good Humor Band and on and on. Lots of great local talent. Makes me miss the Bayou, Cellar Door....

I love that old twangie music, I have reels and reels of it that I recorded long ago.
Yes,. I said reels..no 78's though.... .I'm slowly burning them on CDs.
