The ice and wind in Charles County, the northern areas of Calvert and St. Mary's counties, and Prince George's County have caused numerous outages. SMECO crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to make repairs. During widespread outage events, transmission lines and substation feeders must be repaired before individual service lines.
