Does anyone know what caused this shutdown?

"S: ES Emergency Alert Text & Email Only
LEONARDTOWN RD AND BRYANTOWN RD IS CLOSED IN ALL DIRECTIONS
Reply with YES to confirm."

I know they're busy when they send these texts, but just a little bit more information would be helpful...I.E., natural disaster, car accident, wires down, tsunami, 8.9 earthquake, Godzilla, etc.

Electric lines down along and in the roads due to icing.

Trees and power lines down, involved several electric poles that snapped off also. Still closed as of 12:26 this afternoon. Charles County really got slammed with trees and wires and poles down from the ice from this storm. Fire depts. running non stop today.

still?
That was on the rush hour traffic reports this morning.
I heard the trees down alone were a major problem
Mix in the wires and it's a real nigthmare for the crews.
