the first hundred days: Rule of Law

Our illustrious President made the following commitments to those who voted for him. Naturally, these mean nothing now as the Great Egoist has proclaimed the 100 day test to be "ridiculous", "irrelevant" and of no consequence. Like the spoiled child he continues to prove himself to be...he is once again taking his marbles and running home.

Five actions to restore security and the constitutional rule of law:

★ FIRST, cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama.FAIL

★ SECOND, begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. SUCCESS...but has been previously noted an untrained monkey with an R after his name would have gotten a Supreme confirmed. The only apparent effort Mr. Trump made in this process was to nominate Mr. Gorsuch.

★ THIRD, cancel all federal funding to sanctuary cities. FAIL

★ FOURTH, begin removing the more than two million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back. FAIL

★ FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered “extreme vetting.” MISERABLE FAIL

There is another whole page of Mr. Trump's proclamations that can go read for yourself. He has failed on every one of them...some, like healthcare have been miserable, disastrous and rather predictable failures. "Predictable" because Mr. Trump and those around him simply aren't qualified or up to the task of running the country. Others like infrastructure, tax reform, school choice are fails because Mr. Trump and his staff came into office unprepared to tackle any of these promises. They had no plans in place...they have no staff in place at any of the agencies. Non-existent staff can do nothing to move forward non-existent plans.

Again...all of these promises are from Mr. Trump himself...here is how he ends his Contract with the American Voter:

On November 8th, Americans will be voting for this 100-day plan to restore prosperity to our economy, security to our communities and honesty to our government.

This is my pledge to you. (emphasis is Mr. Trump's not mine)

And if we follow these steps, we will once more have a government of, by and for the people.

It is also worth noting that Mr. Trump has miserably failed in his promises, commitments and pledges while having Republican in control of the House and Senate. Most of Mr. Trump's opponents in the primaries would likely have accomplished something of value by now...without making us the laughing stock of the entire world...without making China's world presence larger at our expense...and with a majority of American support. That is Mr. Trump's biggest fail...as a brand new President in what should have been his honeymoon period, is that he can't muster support from even half of the American public.
