Democrats have been locked in an abusive relationship with the Clintons for decades, enabling, explaining, convincing themselves that next time will be different.

They're like that with Socialism, too. "Oh, Socialism didn't work. Let's try Socialism instead!" They just keep going Lefter and Lefter. There was a time when Bernie Sanders would be a joke, and Elizabeth Warren would be the crazy lady who shouts on street corners wearing a sandwich board. Now those people are contenders for the Presidency of the United States.

Chelsea Clinton, who has never done anything of note in her whole entire life, is being bandied about as a contender for elected office.

What??

Huma Abedin and her abusive marriage is just Round 2 of Hillary Clinton and her abusive marriage, which is indicative of the abuse Democrats think is just part of life when it comes to their politicians. Clueless billionaire Hollyweirds imploring middle class Americans to tighten their belt to support "refugees" and "immigrants". Billionaire politicians chastising struggling families because we're "stingy" and don't pay enough in taxes.

It's freaking crazy and you have to wonder how stupid half this country is that they fall for it time and time again. That pathetic failed Hillary Clinton with her abusive marriage and sleeping her way to power became the poster girl for Feminists....good grief, what do you even say about that??

They'll never go away....just sayin'......

The real powers that have invested so much in their front people..they are the ones that are not going away. The Clintons..the Kenyans....does not matter....they'll find a front piece to put out there.

Who knows? Maybe that someone will be Chelsea!

Why? Because her name is Clinton? Well that just isn't enough.
I certainly have no objection to a woman President in the likes of Golda Meir or Margaret Thatcher.
But making a living running Yo Mama's crooked charity aint cuttin' it.

If you want them to go away, why bring them up and call attention to them? Bedsides, why can't Chelsea run for office if she wants to try? She's no less able to run than any of us. Why don't you run for an office? I think that would be a good thing.

I don't think anyone has said Chelsea CANNOT run for office.
Mostly they just question the wisdom and intelligence of any fool , errrrr uh citizen, who would vote for her.

just another political dynasty this country doesn't need .... we need real people not carer politicians

Okay? Than do something about it beside griping on a forum. Our state and local elections are next year. It takes like $20 or $30 dollars to file for office.

The enduring problem with the Clintons is a problem of the party, not the Clintons.
The party keeps going back to the same barrel. It is STILL true of the Kennedys, and it may have finally ended for the Bushes.
It's not that they shouldn't be able to run, it's - why does the party feel the need to keep going back to them?
It should have been clear with Hillary that the country by and large did not want her but the party made certain she was their nominee.

Good point. It's like there's no new blood out there. Who's the Dems going to go for if not the Clintons? Schumer? The GOP has no one and we ended up with Trump.

The GOP put up something in the teens, and has more on the bench.

The DNC put up 4 (well, three really since Sanders re-admits he's not a democrat). Then, the DNC literally did what they could to damage the other candidates in favor of HRC.

Not really a close call to say they're not the same thing.

I still think they're banking on Warren.

The GOP had a wide field last time, and I'm not convinced we've seen the last of some of them. One of the eternal problems in politics is nobody likes a loser, and you can only run so many times before you're tagged as one. Hence, I think we've seen the last of Jim Webb and Martin O'Malley and several GOP also rans - but I think Rubio is likely to give it another try.

I've seen many articles that more or less have a similar theme - by relying too much on the same older crowd, the Democratic Party has shot itself in the foot, and they have no one waiting in the wings as it were. The Republicans still have quite a lot - when you have 30 governors, you've already got a big pool.

Political power families.

The Adams. The Roosevelt's. The Kennedys. The Bush's. Clinton's. There are all sorts of lesser one who didn't make it to the top. Point being, for many, it becomes, good or bad or somewhere in between, it becomes a family business. Hogan being a notable local example.
Pelosi is from a political family.
