The Shadowy Extremist Group Behind the Anti-Trump Riots
Antifa flies under the radar despite escalating acts of violence against president's supporters

“Anyone who tries to hold any sort of right-wing event literally gets beat up by militant communists in the street,” said independent journalist Lauren Southern, who was present at one of the pro-Trump Berkeley rallies, in a video taken immediately following the violence.

Harrowing video footage taken by Southern’s crew showed Antifa street fighters throwing bricks and M-80 explosives into the crowd, as well as assaulting Trump supporters. Other footage released by someone present at the event showed one Antifa thug hit a Trump supporter over the head with a bicycle chain and lock.

But the Trump supporters and free speech activists — acting fully in self-defense — were able to hold their ground and drive back their Antifa attackers. In response Antifa members have only vowed to intensify their violence.

"Not getting disarmed is a big part of the problem, yes, but we need more than flags and bats," wrote one in the r/anarchism subreddit community page.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that an "anti-fascist" group is using violence to shut down free speech?

No. The folks seem to self identify as communists, the most violent, controlling ideology, by far, known to man so far.

These people are domestic terrorists and should be handled as such. You wear a mask to a rally, you go to jail.
You bring a weapon you get charged with it.

If they commit violence, break the law, I'm with you. However, this has nothing to do with the question asked. These folks self identify as communists and they should be thus seen as representatives of the most tyrannical and violent political system yet devised and anyone with even a partial education should readily know communism was FAR more violent than fascism.

Well, given the name of the movement is AntiFa, or Anti-Fascist that would be how they identify.

Communists are anti fascist, too. That doesn't equate to me thinking "Oh, well, then. You're against fascism and therefore peaceful."

let's clear about one thing ... before this gets too deep in the weeds ... Fascism ≠ Nazis other than being a political group, Nazis ≠ Right Wing
Fascist: an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization
from Italian fascismo, from fascio ‘bundle, political group,’

anything opposed to Stalin's version of 'Communism' was labeled Fascist

- Trotsky was to the LEFT of Stalin and advocated Revolution every 5 yrs, which Stalin saw this as a challenge to HIS POWER and label Trotsky a Fascist
- this was in turned picked up by Communists / Socialists / Progressives [elitists intellectuals] and this country and applied accordingly

National Socialism
- ran on the same party planks as the 1932 Communists
- Brown Uniforms were to confuse Hitlers guys with the RED Uniforms the Communists wore

Fascism: is a religion of the State, it assumes the organic unity of the body politic and longs for a national leader attuned to the will of the people. it is totalitarian in that it views everything as political and holds that any action by the state is justified to achieve the common good. it takes responsibility for all aspects of life, including our health and well-being, and seeks to impose uniformity of thought and action, wither by force or through regulation and social pressure. Everything, including economy and religion, must be aligned with its objectives. any rival identity is part of the "problem" and therefore defined as the enemy.
