I support the right of a free citizen to stand in his yard at 03:00 if he wants to, and no one should be empowered to stop him!!!

And if he wants to do so wearing a glow in the dark robe and bunny slippers.... Then By Gawd Let Him Do So As Well!!!

Which reminds me... Need to check amazon to see where my robe is.

Don't run it through the regular laundry; it won't glow in the dark any more if you do.

Or so a friend told me, anyway...

Couple of thoughts for ya there Ivy League Lite...

1. Did you search any other...you know...actual news sites about this event?

2. Did you read the story from the link inside the source you posted?

No? (Of course not). If you had you might have noticed that your story said your hero had a concealed carry permit. Not unusual in TX. But I think even someone with your limited intelligence would agree that an AR-15 is not a "concealed carry" type of weapon? (I'm sure the only reason you posted this because of the AR-15 reference.)

The original story does not mention the type of weapon the homeowner fired. So where did your "source" get it from? Did they make it up?

There is also no mention of weapon types in this report of the same incident: http://cityofhouston.news/investigation-into-fatal-shooting-at-400-glenburnie/

BTW...here a couple of other wonderful gun related stories for you:

http://wiat.com/2017/05/08/2-year-old-shot-monday-morning-in-birmingham/

I am sure that first story will make you so proud...1 shot...TWO hits! Of course he hit himself and a 3 yr old....but that's irrelevant...right?

Apparently you didn't read the OP's link, that or the clickbait sidetracted you.
But I would guess more on your poor reading skills.

Surprisingly, the victim was unharmed, and what is even more shocking is what the homeowner did as he was being shot at. The homeowner returned fire with an AR-15 rifle, hitting all three of the thugs as they shot at him.

All that fuss and not a single point made. At least you are consistent. ;-)

The unanswered question for me is why they fired on this man.
It appears it was he they were hunting---but why? Most times even thugs do not just drive around and shoot at the first person they see in his yard.
It appears obvious to me that this man knew he was being hunted and was prepared.

I would almost bet he knew the shooters.

Looking at the names of the dead thugs, it should be obvious what the motive was. As in Chicago, the motive is stop anyone in range from breathing.
