Trump's Comey firing sets off new round of leaks

“We never got 1 damaging leak out of Obama White House staff in 8 yrs. Under Trump, they appear hourly. BIG DANGER: Small leaks sink ships!!” Drudge said in a flurry of tweets.

“Trump advisers leaking to media are now deliberately sabotaging presidency. Major house cleaning needed for survival. Leaks on hour, every hour, will destroy Trump presidency. There's a Trojan horse plotting within the inner circle!”

As that drama played out, Trump also faced negative stories that appeared to originate with law enforcement officials angered by his handling of the Comey affair.

Over 30 paragraphs in that story and those are the three that you thought were relevant???

Why not these two?

Media reports about the run-up to Trump’s decision paint him as isolated and consumed by anger and paranoia, prompting questions from Trump allies about whose interests these government officials had in mind when they spoke to the press.

The behind-the-scenes stories have often undermined the White House’s public reasoning for firing Comey, causing further political trouble for the administration and exacerbating growing divisions between Trump and his law enforcement agencies.

Maybe because the leaks aren't what is undermining the "White House' public reasoning for firing Comey"? The White House's public statements and the public statements of the President undermine the White House. (How many excuses have they used? 3? It was the letter from Rosenstein? No, the President was going to fire w/o the letter---this was used after folks read the letter and realized it did not recommend firing. Then, it was that Comey wasn't doing a good job. Then, it was because he was a show boat and a grandstander. Then it was because of the Russia investigation. Those last 3 were stated by the Pres himself.)

Read the rest...it isn't flattering...and the President's problems are not the fault of leaks. The President's problems are MUCH more basic. He is unqualified for the job. He has no knowledge of US history or how our govt operates (you know...checks and balances...separation of powers...little, unimportant details like that). Not only is he intellectually unsuited for the job, he is emotionally incapable of handling it. Mr. Trump has spent his life bullying people to do what HE and only HE wanted. Governing in a representative democracy requires a completely different skill set than Mr. Trump possesses. Of course the majority of voters knew this and the rest of the world knew this...including the Russians...

But the emails!!!!

You are 100% correct!

It was HRC who sent and received classified emails on machines and servers that were not certified to handle classified information therefore violating the rules and laws against the possible disclosure of information that was potentially damaging to our country.

Blame the idiot!

Since you cannot think by yourself, let me help:

The clue is right there in front of your face. "Media reports..." The "media reports" so far have been bull####. Lies, spin, very occasionally a nugget of truth (cloaked in dripping vitriol and partisan hackery).

I already know the progpress' opinion on Donald Trump. They have made themselves clear. So when they "report" that he is "angry and paranoid" and whatever else, I take that with the pillar of salt it deserves, considering that most of the crap they dream up turns out to be a figment of their own deranged imagination.

You can believe them if you want. You're like the abused wife who insists that "he's not always like that", "he's sorry", and "he really does love me", then continues to take her beatings like a good girl.
