On another note, I take no offense to someone wishing me a Happy Mother's day (since I CHOSE to never have two legged children). It was a friendly gesture from the cashier I encountered that had no way of knowing I had no children.
My youngest daughter, 40 years old, chose to not have children, she does however have a 4-legged "child" in the form of a black Cocker Spaniel named King. I consider him my third "grandchild"!!
