Special Prosecutor For Trump/Russia Investigation Is A Disaster

The prosecutor, hired to investigate something that never happened, will not report Trump’s innocence. Special prosecutors never do. They justify their own existence, importance, budget, and staff by finding something to prosecute. Usually the “crime” they end up going after is one that his own investigation has created.

Remember the Valerie Plame affair? After years of work the special prosecutor found that no crime had occurred. The person who leaked her link to the CIA was authorized to do so. With no crime to come up with, Patrick Fitzgerald, the prosecutor, indicted poor Scooter Libby, an aide to VP Dick Cheney, for perjury, a crime that would never have taken place had there been no investigation.

That’s how special prosecutors work.

In the meantime, they hobble the president, drain away his political credibility, separate him from his supporters, and paralyze his administration. No legislator is willing to lend his support for fear of what the prosecutor might find. Each one will run for cover rather than work with Trump to get something done.

Bwhahahaha

Let the alright heads explode...... you might get prosecuted if you lie under oath.

BTW, Mueller is a special counselor, not prosecutor. You and your 'source' should learn the difference

In that case, bone up on English.

In ANY case, the history of such guys isn't alarming. Occasionally they find something, but just as often they don't.

You Trumpsters sure seem scared, anytime anybody makes an argument you guys go right to "HILLARY HILLARY BLAH BLAH BLAH". Hillary isn't president and isn't the subject of this investigation.

IF the investigation is with respect to whether the Russians attempted to impact the election, and we know that Mrs. Clinton and posse made millions from deals with the Russians based on her position as Sec State (that's not an "if", we know that to be true), then why is she NOT one of the subjects of the investigation?

I would think that the Special Counsel's investigation will be conducted behind the scenes and therefore not be front page news everyday. Good for everyone, but bad for the MSM.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the House and Senate will still be conducting their dog-and-pony shows so we'll continue to hear about it on a daily basis.

It's going to be entertaining if/when the special COUNSELOR  turns up nothing and every democrat's head explodes, and the attacks start after Mueller's credibility.

Well she should be a subject of it. She certainly got more money and made more contacts with the Russians than anyone else.
I don't care about a special counsel, he cannot produce evidence when there is none. It's a waste of time and money.

That is a legitimate fear. We have witnessed that before.

Like Psy said, If the Counsel finds nothing the Dems will be screaming for him to be fired, then if Trump fires him they will say it's a cover up./

I agree that these investigations often have a way of turning up stuff that wasn't the original target of the investigation.

Bill Clinton: Investigating his financial dealings for some property in Arkansas ending up getting him impeach for lying about a sexual affair.

Valerie Plume: Investigating illegal leak of intelligence operative name ending up prosecuting Scooter Libby for perjury regarding campaign financial information (I think).

Benghazi Congressional Investigation: Investigating the events that lead to four people getting killed in Libya ended up uncovering that Hillary Clinton was using a private email server for her official gov't work. No prosecution but probably caused her to lose the 2016 Presidential election.
