Former Obama CIA Head Admits: Anti-Trump Leaking Endangers National Security, Must Be Stopped
On Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan dropped multiple bombshells on Democrats hoping to squeeze information from him that would confirm any collusion or attempted obstruction of justice by the Trump administration with regard to Russian manipulation in the 2016 election. Democrats failed signally in their goal.
First, Brennan told House lawmakers that the plethora of leaks coming from the Trump intelligence community “hurts our national security, compromises our intelligence capabilities, and needs to be investigated, needs to stop.” The statement throws a wrench into the gears of Democratic conspiracy-mongering – Democrats say that leaks are just a way of keeping the Trump administration honest.
Brennan also stated that he had seen no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia. He said that he investigated intelligence, not evidence, and that the FBI would head any such investigation into collusion. He stated, “I don’t know whether or not such collusion – and that’s your term, such collusion existed.”
