Remember that Obama signed the agreement without the consent of the U.S. Congress, an executive overreach of extraordinary magnitude. But when Trump decided that the accord was just too costly ($1 billion-plus already in taxpayer money) for a measly return (two tenths of one degree Celsius reduction in global temperature by the year 2100), Obama spoke as if he is still president.

The fact that Obama thought it right to weigh in -- and to express his opinion in direct opposition of the sitting president -- reveals a lot. Obama is not interested in healing the divide that split America in 2016. Instead, he's interested only in advancing his pathetic legacy, and doesn't care if he badmouths the American president if it keeps up his profile in the rest of the world.
Obama would rather look good to his globalist buddies -- the ones who want the United States, as always, to foot the bill for an expensive but essentially pointless program -- than stand behind America.
