Additional Information: The Sheriff's Office was notified of the property destruction from the early morning hours of June 24, 2017 in the Academy Hills neighborhood in Leonardtown, Maryland. Three mailboxes were located with ground based sparkler devices that had been ignited inside. Witnesses said that there were other mailboxes that had damage from the prior weekend that had not been reported. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Southern Regional Office, at 443-550-6833.
