Vet, vet, vet. Then vet some more. This guy has to be the dumbest employee ever.

A security guard employed by cash vault and transport company Garda stole $100,000 in cash in his first day on the job, police in New Jersey say.Fairfield police say 19-year-old Larry Brooks was caught on the company's surveillance cameras stealing $100,000 while working.
The company's security officers were able to recover about $86,000

True, but they guard real cash

Its cheaper for the company to pay a little bit more on insurance rather than hiring qualified personnel (or buy trucks that are not breaking down rust buckets).

You hire on with Garda when you are 19 and stay on exactly as long as it takes to get your armed guard license. As cash in transit companies go, Garda is the bottom of the barrel. They have high staff turnover so they end up with 19 year olds who are itching to carry a gun.

Did you know there is 9 or 10 states that allow 18 year olds to get carry permits?
Maryland and Indiana are two of those States.
There is no armed guard license for a person to get in many States also, the company is Licensed and the employees work under there umbrella.

Yes I did know that.

There is an armed guard license in MD and it requires employment and sponsorship from a licensed security company. The employment with the company is also required for the individuals wear & carry permit.
