    AGREE!!!! For kids to do it is one thing, or even in casual conversation, but when you are a news analyst or testifying before Congress, leave your, "So, ..." at home.

    I will start a sentence with So fairly often but that is when I can't get a straight f'in answer from people and am trying to make my point that they really said nothing.
