White Nationalists Say Charlottesville Was Just a Beginning

Preserving memorials to the Old South has become an animating force for the white nationalist movement, not because all members are Southern, Schoep said, but because adherents see the drive to remove such monuments as part of a larger, anti-white crusade.

"It's an assault on American freedoms. Today it's Confederate monuments. Tomorrow it may be the Constitution or the American flag," Schoep said.

At the University of Florida, where Spencer has asked to speak, President W. Kent Fuchs called the events in Virginia "deplorable" but indicated school officials might be unable to block his appearance.

"While this speaker's views do not align with our values as an institution, we must follow the law, upholding the First Amendment not to discriminate based on content and provide access to a public space," Fuchs said in a message on the university's Facebook page.

Auburn University spent almost $30,000 in legal fees in an unsuccessful attempt to prevent Spencer from speaking on its campus in Alabama in April.

Heres opportunity...

Let them rally wherever they like.

Let the BLM and Blackbloc groups show up for their rumble.

Cordon off around them so it's contained and let all the racists #######s kill each other.

Any that try to escape the zone, shoot on sight.

I agree with the monuments, its history. but to pull it down like we did with the Saidam (SP) statue is disrespectful, some confederate widows spent their hard eared money to get the statue erected. if the masses don't want it there them move it to a museum. but its amazing the alt right Folks were full armed and no one got shot. they were there to protect the statue, but the alt left showed up and started stuff.

This is where I see things. This doesn't end with just confederate memorials and such. Don't think there aren't people already pushing for it.

Good Idea. Hmmm... Stadium.

Glass wall the bleachers like Hockey, sell tickets and open ticket windows for placing bets. :yay:

I was thinking foot ball or baseball ....
... line up on each end - cover and concealment in the middle like an airsoft play field, only everyone is armed with a .22 Ruger 10/22 or Pistol and 100 rounds

You people are joking about a serious problem.
There are nuts on both sides of this thing that are perfectly willing to escalate this to an armed conflict.

The problem is that the police are not doing their job.
They allowed the pulling down of a statue, they allowed these crowds to come together for violence.
If it keeps happening it is going to lead to a much bigger conflict

With plutonium nitrate, multi-explosive, sound seeking projectiles. :yay:

Agreed, but what exactly do you think you, me or anyone here can do?

Who exactly, in the affected groups, Democrat politicians, Media or general population is going to listen to anything other than their echo-chamber and continue to build it?

Maybe White Nationalists and Antifa will all kill each other, and the rest of us can get back to our lives.

Go have your little race war, guys. Hash it all out nice and good. Don't forget your pitchforks and shotguns a-holes.

There is a humorous cognitive disconnect going on with this statement. I hope I don't have to tell the class what it is.

The problem is that this thing is like a huge sinkhole that keeps getting bigger and more and more people will get sucked into it.

If it were a set number of people on both side it would solve itself with your suggestion to let them fight it out and be done with it,

But it isn't. More and more will be drawn into it. Until almost everyone will be on one side or the other and those in between become victims.

That's what kills me about some folks. I would write them off as idiots, but friends of mine - people who I know for a fact are smarter than this - subscribe to the same stupid-ass philosophy as if it's not a paradox. "It's not about racism, it's about our history".
But it's not.

It's not OUR history. It's about the history of a nation that lost, and no longer ####ing exists. They are monuments to a failed nation. They are monuments to failed ideals. They are monuments to treason.

And before someone chimes in with "My ancestors were Confederates! So it is about my history, my heritage", again I say: No, it's not. My blood is mostly German and Irish. I lay no claim to Nazism or the ####ing IRA. I feel zero connection to any of those a-holes. Be an American or be something else. If you want to pretend to be a Confederate, that's fine by me - but own it. Admit you think slavery is dandy, and you'd like to go back to the way things were before you got your asses ripped open by a superior force.
