At the same time, it was clear there was the potential for a deterioration in the relationship between Trump and his chief economic adviser, whom he has been considering naming as Federal Reserve chair.

I mean, not anymore, but....

Cohn drafted a resignation letter after Trump’s Charlottesville remarks, he never signed it or discussed resigning with the president, according to a person familiar with the process.

Better dig that letter back out, pal.

Between Cohn and Yellen, could end up being
Kevin Warsh, a former Fed governor and senior official in the George W. Bush administration, John Taylor, a Stanford University economics professor, Glenn Hubbard, a former Bush economic adviser and dean of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Yeah, if you didn't submit it, shut the hell up about until you are ready. You want the virtue, but dont want to lose the job. How about you join the President and tell people that they should write his words down and parse that crap out. And spend some time studying a lot of footage. Instead you want both side of the fence. Here's what happens when you want to be on both sides of the fence, buddy.

So... from the article,

Cohn lashed Trump’s comments earlier this month blaming the violence in Charlottesville on “both sides,” saying in an interview with the Financial Times that “citizens standing up for equality and freedom can never be equated with white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK.” The adviser, who is Jewish and has long given to Jewish causes, said the administration “must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups.”

So screw the 1st Amendment and free speech, as long as it's Nazis and KKK, violence is okay.
