By putting people, nations, and the UN in general in their place and on notice. Calling out Iran NK, Venezuela, veiled references to Russia and China, and all socialist/communist regimes in general (which is probably 80% of the UN), and obama hisself. Good for the Trumpster.

Depraved regime of Rocket Man:lmao:

Worst deal EVER for US concerning obama/clinton/kerry and Iran......

I doubt if the UN'ers had ever been talked to like that.....

Damn!!! that sounded good to me. Time someone with balls went to the UN and spoke truth to them.
Makes one wonder WTF Obama and Kerry were thinking about when they made the Iran deal and sent Billion there to help Iran continue their terrorism.
Think where we would be now if Hilary had been elected. Giving away the store is not the way to run a country or a business.

Funny how he prattles on about national sovereignty being paramount and then goes on to list a rack of countries and tells them they must change.

I guess it’s only United States’ sovereignty which is paramount.

Are you taking about the money that belonged to Iran in the first place? That money?

I didn't see him telling anybody their countries have to change. He just told them that their systems suck, don't work, never have worked, and never will work. If they want to do business with and don't threaten the US, that can be worked out. They can keep their fascist/socialist/marxist system. Just don't complain about the woes that afflict themselves, or blame them on the US.

There's that latent collectivism coming out. Be careful.

Of course he didn't say of that either...http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/19/trump-un-speech-2017-full-text-transcript-242879

But he did say this which ought to make your empty heads implode:
All responsible leaders have an obligation to serve their own citizens, and the nation-state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition.
In other words, "you didn't build that"?? :lmao:

He also said this:
It was in the same period, exactly 70 years ago, that the United States developed the Marshall Plan to help restore Europe. Those three beautiful pillars -- they’re pillars of peace, sovereignty, security, and prosperity.
Um...how many pillars???

I see you picked up the CNN talking point pretty quickly. Do you have any of your own thoughts?

Nevermind......,...,,

I took the word 'peace' to be used as another adjective, just as he used 'beautiful'. Basically using two descriptive words to describe the three pillars he was talking about, which were sovereignty, security, and prosperity. You know how he can get with using those adjectives. Throwing two words like, 'which are' in between the word peace and sovereignty would make that clearer. Of course, I could be wrong.

I did like the tone of the speech as a whole. I thought it was great.

Trump laid it out honestly, something that hasn't happened there in years.
