End-of-world prediction interrupts TV broadcasts in Orange County

“It almost sounded like Hitler talking,” she said. “It sounded like a radio broadcast coming through the television.”

Erin Mireles of Diamond Bar was watching the BRAVO network on Spectrum’s cable system when her show was interrupted by the alert.

“I was definitely startled, ’cause the volume increased exponentially,” she said. “I wasn’t alarmed in the sense of thinking something was wrong, ’cause I assumed it was some sort of hack. My channel changed back to Bravo after a couple minutes.”

The mysterious alert became a hot topic on social media.

Ceanne Guerra, a spokeswoman for Cox, said the company was investigating whether it had been hacked.

It was unknown if the broadcast was related to a prophecy by David Meade, a self-described “specialist in research and investigations” who believes catastrophic events will occur Saturday.

The world will end when God is ready not to keep a schedule some airheaded dingbat thought up.
Lead a decent life and don't worry about it, It's not like you can stop it ,and Cancer has a better chance of taking you out than this dum dum 's prediction.

If you know how the EAS messages are forwarded to the cable companies, it becomes a system that is very easy to hack/spoof.
