I have to gloat a bit. I heard of a guy that was selling most of his small gun collection so I made an appointment to meet him to see what he had and prices. I was not interested in most of his stuff but when he laid the H&K 270 with a Bushnell Sportview 3x9 scope on the pool table I drooled. The gun is 95+, no wear on the bluing, crisp rifling, and a few small handling dents in the stock. I don't believe the gun has had 50 rounds (if any) through it. I asked what he wanted for it and he said "make me an offer." I told him to just tell me what he wanted for it, when he said "Will you give me $100.00" I almost pooped my jeans! I quickly pulled out the wallet gave him $160.00 just because I couldn't take that much advantage. He was happy and I am elated! I just wish he had kept the box!
Also the factory sights are still in place. Many were removed for scope mounting.
