This 1 is a true story.

A Green Cove Springs man hopped on his mower to pick up some gas, and wound up charged with DUI.Damon Hayward found out that it's still a DUI, even if you're on a lawn mower. He had been drinking, and didn't have a car because of a previous DUI.
His lawnmower is also his job. He was driving the mower to the nearby gas station to fill up for the next day's jobs.

This is true. We were returning home from Daytona Beach yesterday morning and heard it on the WFLA radio. Gotta love Grady Judd - he and his deputies don't mess around and will pursue EVERY perceived violation of some kind of law. Polk County prosecutors are kept busy, for sure.
