Sen. Chuck Schumer Says He Likes The Chinese Internet Firewall — Because It Keeps Trump From Tweeting

TMZ, the entertainment news network, caught up with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., and asked him about China's Internet ban.

His response? He's all for it — so long as it keeps President Donald Trump from tweeting.

China practices repressive social control over its citizens, and bans most Internet-based contact with the outside world, including participation in global social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Chinese Internet users, instead, have access to Chinese-only social media options in order to keep Chinese citizens from having too much knowledge of the world outside, or access to media sources that contradict the state's own media companies.

ofc a Progressive would be for censoring speech he is opposed to
We’re tempted to suggest a conspiracy here — but it’s just liberals agreeing yet again that conservatives have hidden, evil motives, because modern liberals simply can’t conceive of any other reason to disagree with the liberal consensus.
