Papa John's update

Odd that this article has not show up on here, huh?

Papa John's is apologizing for their CEO's comments during their earnings call. It is all over the news, but I will post the Fox version so you all won't think it is FAKE!

“The statements made on our earnings call were describing the factors that impact our business and we sincerely apologize to anyone that thought they were divisive. That was definitely not our intention,” Papa John’s tweeted.

“We believe in the right to protest inequality and support the players’ movement to create a platform for change. We also believe, as Americans, we should honor our anthem. There should be a way to do both.”

The pizza powerhouse ended with, “We will work with the players and league to find a positive way forward. Open to ideas from all. Except neo-nazis.”

The chain then used an emoji for the middle finger, “those guys.”

Even a pizza chain understands the appropriate response when it comes to neo-nazis. Maybe our incompetent President should order a pie with a side of elementary school education?

Wow. It a good week for boycotts huh ?

Papa John’s obviously felt the pinch and Hannity certainly changed his tune quickly.

Seems like boycotts work at least when Democrats do it.

Wow. Middle finger emoji.

Oh well, I don't eat Papa John pizza anyway, so middle finger emoji to them. I refuse to support a business that buys into this progbot bull####.

So you’d rather side with Nazis then a company that made a statement against them. Makes a lot of sense

Yep, that's the only thing that could mean. Not anything like "I don't agree with the companies stance on the players", it's got to mean "I like nazis".

you're a moron

If you support the first amendment then yes even those with points of view that you disagree with get to hop up on their soap box.

Twist my comments as needed to support your own views.

So....who are the Nazis? The people who own Pappa Johns, the CEO of Pappa Johns, the People who eat Pappa Johns, or the people who won’t eat Pappa Johns..... I’m so confused.

Yeah, you keep believing that.

Historically, boycotts themselves usually fail. It's rare that the consumers of a specific product can be united enough to bring enough pressure on a large company.

Now - until the protests ends, I won't be watching the NFL. I don't care if it has ZERO effect, I don't want to see it anymore.

*looking around confusedly*
I'd say that it has shown up here.

Literally, like, right here. In this thread.

Your posts count too.
You matter. :poorbaby:

Anyway, since NHBoy* has seem to have disappeared, like a dingleberry that's finally knocked off George Soros' sarlacc-like ass crevice, why don't you take over posting all the leftist propaganda for us.

*did you ever get on his case for posting with such one-sidedness? Or are you engaging in double-standards? Nah - couldn't be!

Well it worked in this case. And Hannity changed his tune with 24 hours.of his advertisers leaving. So point to whatever historical data allows you to side with Nazi's and Pedophiles
