If individuals and industries donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the fake charity, do they now have to go back and amend their taxes for all those years their deductions were no longer true? If some companies and really, really rich Democrat donors had to pay fines and interest, maybe they would be less likely to donate to these shady politicians.

I believe you are ok as long as the charities non-profit status was valid at the time you made the donation. And you can bet that Lois Lerner made certain that all those dem charities were kept valid ;-)

    From the link
She was president of a charity called One Door for Education, which was never actually registered as a 501(c)(3).
Would contributors to this charity have to amend tax returns?

A Florida federal judge sentenced former Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) on Monday to five years in prison for her role in heading a criminal conspiracy to use a fake charity for poor children as her personal slush fund.

A federal jury convicted Brown, 71, in May of 18 out of the 22 charges filed against her which included fraud, lying on tax returns, and lying on congressional financial disclosure forms, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Local investigative reporter Paige Kelton with ActionNewsJax broke the news of the sentences handed out to Brown, Brown’s former chief of staff Ronnie Simmons, and the president of the fraudulent charity “One Door for Education” Carla Wiley.

We’re tempted to suggest a conspiracy here — but it’s just liberals agreeing yet again that conservatives have hidden, evil motives, because modern liberals simply can’t conceive of any other reason to disagree with the liberal consensus.

    Silly judge!

    Rules weren't made for Democrats.

Now they can go after Jill Stein and Valerie Plame for their GoFundMe scams.
