...several good points, in fact.

You know, if it was real, you wouldn’t have to convince people. That’s the thing about science. If it’s real, there’s no convincing. You don’t have to sell science. Science doesn’t need a marketing plan. Science doesn’t need a political action committee. Science doesn’t need donors. Science doesn’t need to run ads. Science is, by definition, science. It’s tested to the point of infallibility, and only then are conclusions published. And even then it’s ongoing.

Oh good lord that is such BS. That is beyond stupid even for you.

Every major breakthrough or discovery takes loads of time to convince the average person it is true.

How many millennia did humans think a guy on a chariot raced across the sky to bring the dawn?

The world is flat...smoking isn't dangerous to your health (Christ there is still an entire industry dedicated to convincing gullible people like you that smoking is not unhealthy)...putting electricity into homes would kill everyone inside...the universe is only 6000 years old (there are still people who think that is true)...

Science always has to fight to be recognized...it always has to fight the powers that be and the entrenched human biases...

No Rush didn't make a good point. Rush made a propagandist point directed towards those with lower intellectual levels...like yourself.
