All that winning

Given the constant discussion of all that "winning" Trump is doing, his poll numbers sure suck. How can they keep getting worse as evidenced by Pew earlier this week?

The Obamacare repeal and replace failed. The infrastructure program never even got started. We are almost 11 months into the 90 day Muslim travel ban and no one yet knows what will become of the third attempt at that POS legislation. Yes, Trump has named some post offices and pardoned a couple of turkeys.

The economy is doing better this year, as most everyone expected it would before the winner of the election was announced and still his approval rating is the worst of any President in modern times at this early stage of his Presidency...this is another common theme in this "nothing but winning" CF of a leader.

And now we have the tax cut plan. Reuters shows a 31% approval rating: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...can-tax-bill-reuters-ipsos-poll-idUSKBN1E52HZ

31%.

USAtoday shows the approval rating at 32%. (referenced in the Reuters article).

That is about all this President can muster on anything. 35% approval seems to be his goal now.

Oh... and the Congress managed to fund the govt for 2 WHOLE WEEKS! Thank GOD for 1 party rule, huh?

And the stupid ass debt ceiling is up for expansion...again...https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ment-measures-due-to-debt-limit-idUSKBN1E52IN

Drain that swamp...Trump is the ONLY one who can solve ALL our problems. Kinda hard to lead when no one will follow...isn't it?

Christ even the French president basically called Trump a buffoon in an interview on CBS this evening. The freaking French! If you missed that interview, did you see this one:

PARIS (AP) — Eighteen climate scientists from the U.S. and elsewhere hit the jackpot Monday as French President Emmanuel Macron awarded them millions of euros in grants to relocate to France for the rest of Donald Trump’s presidential term.

MAGA! MAGA! MAGA!

MAGA, back at ya!

I find it amazing that the French would criticize the US for any reason, since we saved their butts from the Nazis in WWII. D-Day, Normandy, and all that. What a bunch of smug, whiney, think their ‘you know’ don’t stink socialist babies. They should try winning instead of whining. And, don’t forget about the ‘no fly zone’ thingy. :baby:

How about this...MOWGA (Make Our World Great Again)
Go 45! What a Nazi! :killingme:

Edit: There was a resistance coalition in France to go against the Nazis. Hiding in the woods, trying to help their fellow Frenchmen/women, etc. Seems the word ‘resistance’ has taken on a whole new meaning. The resistance peeps in the US are deplorables. Get it? I knew you would!

Would those be the same types of pollsters that gave HRC a 90% chance of winning the election?

The Obamacare repeal and replace failed.

You stated something factual - CONGRATULATIONS!! But, this is a sad fact for our Constitutional Republic.

The infrastructure program never even got started.

And, thank goodness for that:
President James Madison said:
Having duly considered the bill entitled "An act for the preservation and repair of the Cumberland road," it is with deep regret, approving as 1 do the policy, that I am compelled to object to its passage and to return the bill to the House of Representatives, in which it originated, under a conviction that Congress do not possess the power under the Constitution to pass such a law.

A power to establish turnpikes with gates and tolls, and to enforce the collection of tolls by penalties, implies a power to adopt and execute a complete system of internal improvement. A right to impose duties to be paid by all persons passing a certain road, and on horses and carriages, as is done by this bill, involves the right to take the land from the proprietor on a valuation and to pass laws for the protection of the road from injuries, and if it exist as to one road it exists as to any other, and to as many roads as Congress may think proper to establish.

We are almost 11 months into the 90 day Muslim travel ban and no one yet knows what will become of the third attempt at that POS legislation.

So many problems with this.....It was approved as constitutional, rightly so, by SCOTUS, and not as a 90-day deal, and it was not legislation. You have at least three fails in one sentence, Trump has zero in your intended slam.

The economy is doing better this year, as most everyone expected it would before the winner of the election was announced

Really, everyone expected that?

Forbes didn't think so, the NY Times didn't think so, Time didn't think so, Politico didn't think so......It seems it is not Trump who is failing with this.

and still his approval rating is the worst of any President in modern times at this early stage of his Presidency...this is another common theme in this "nothing but winning" CF of a leader.

Golly, I wonder why

Well, if we are going to govern by polls, why have legislatures? Surely, we know if we legislated by polls, there would be no ACA, right? Abortion would be illegal in about 30 some-odd states, there would be no redefinition of "marriage" to include same-sex couples, voter ID would be a thing pretty much everywhere except sanctuary cities, etc., etc. Do you really want to legislate by polls?

Oh... and the Congress managed to fund the govt for 2 WHOLE WEEKS! Thank GOD for 1 party rule, huh?

Well, we don't have one party rule. But, you are right that this is a problem. That's twice you were correct in one post!!! You're getting better, Sap.

And the stupid ass debt ceiling is up for expansion...again...

I agree the debt ceiling is pretty stupid. They pass a law limiting how much they can borrow, until they need to borrow more, then pass a law allowing them to borrow more. There has never once, of which I am aware, been a time that we simply limited funding (reduced the size of government) based on this "ceiling". It is not really a limit if it is simply modified every time we approach it.

However, we approach the debt ceiling under pretty much every president for decades. What is the issue you are trying to raise here?

Drain that swamp...Trump is the ONLY one who can solve ALL our problems. Kinda hard to lead when no one will follow...isn't it?

Yeah, so why aren't you getting in line behind? Do you disagree with his agenda of getting corrupt politicians (read: The Establishment) out of power? Do you disagree with his desire to make Americans' lives better, reduce the size and scope of government, drastically reduce government waste, and have the American government think of the needs of America first over others? Are those controversial issues, which you cannot support?

I mean, you may not like his methods, and we can agree he is a braggart and an unpolished public speaker, but if we are going to look at general concepts, can't you get behind those, and help America achieve positive goals?

If the French are interested in paying for more bogus studies on the thoroughly-debunked concept of man-made global warming, than I believe they should do so. I see no need for America to do so. Again, what is your issue with the French disagreeing?

It's not so much that - it does however confirm that far too many people I know on the left simply hate the man. Hate him.
While at the same time saying he's doing a good job on the economy. But they hate him anyway.

I disagreed with Obama, but I never hated the guy.

They hated Dubya beyond reason as well. AND they hated Ronald Reagan with a blinding passion. So it's safe to say that they hate all non-Democrats and are happy to be whipped into a frenzy by their handlers.

the following was wrtitten some months ago when the poll number begen to slide

among Democrats and Independents Trumps numbers are falling
among Republicans he remains steady at about 80%

so among people perhaps who were swing voters or willing to give he a change aka D / I Trump's numbers are falling
[not really surprising with the onslaught of negative news]
- wither the guy steps on his dick or not, people who were swayed on way, have swayed back the other

What I am noticing is that, from time to time according to the polls - people who did NOT vote for Obama were still willing to give him a favorable approval.

Something that might blow your mind here.....

When Trump fails or gets blamed for something, or gets chastized by the media. Even if the story is 100% accurate, at least he is still our democratically elected President.

When you put up your "pseudo facts" and fake news stories just to get yourself fired up on an anti-Trump tangent and you get proven wrong or FAIL, what do you get to fall back on??

I truly believe that this is the actual problem with angry lib progs such as yourself. You are jealous that Trump can make it to the POTUS-land and you are stuck where you are.

When I look at Hillary I truly cannot see how she got as many votes as she did.
Why would anyone vote for that sorry excuse for a woman.
She stayed with a husband who was a known womanizer for political purposes.
She herself screwed at least two different men , before she switched over to eating at the Y.
Her criminal record is well known though she had the political power to avoid arrest.
Her record as a Senator was not distinguished in any manner.
She sold the Office of Secretary of State to the highest bidder.
She lied about the deaths of 4 men, who were working for she and Obama to get back weapons they supplied to ISIS.
She fraudulently won the Democrat primary after "fixing" it.

And yet there are retards in this country who voted for her over Trump.
Now Trump may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but he is head and shoulders over Hillary (Who should be in prison).
