Kentucky State Rep. Dan Johnson, who was under investigation for alleged sexual molestation, died of a "probable suicide," the Bullitt County coroner said.

Bullitt County Sheriff Donnie Tinnell said Johnson drove onto the bridge over the Salt River on Greenwell Ford Road in Mt. Washington, parked on the north side of it and shot himself in front of his car. His body was found on the bank of the river, just past the bridge.

Just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Johnson posted the following message on his Facebook page:

The accusations from NPR are false GOD and only GOD knows the truth, nothing is the way they make it out to be. AMERICA will not survive this type of judge and jury fake news . Conservatives take a stand. I LOVE GOD and I LOVE MY WIFE, who is the best WIFE in the world,My Love Forever ! My Mom and Dad my FAMILY and all five of my kids and Nine grandchildren two in tummies and many more to come each of you or a total gift from GOD stay strong, REBECCA needs YOU . 9-11-2001 NYC/WTC, PTSD 24/7 16 years is a sickness that will take my life, I cannot handle it any longer. IT Has Won This Life . BUT HEAVEN IS MY HOME. “PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY, Only Three things I ask of you to do,if you love me is (1)blame no person,Satan is the accuser, so blame the Devil himself. (2) Forgive and Love everyone especially yourself .(3)most importantly LOVE GOD. P.S. I LOVE MY FRIENDS YOU ARE FAMILY ! GOD LOVES ALL PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT !

I am always suspicious of suicides that happen far from home.
Unless a person is jumping from a bridge or building, most people commit suicide at home.

Someone needed to tell the good representative that suicide is considered a mortal sin and, according to the "good book," it won't be heaven that he is going to.....

"All of us at Louisville Public Media are deeply sad to hear that State Representative Dan Johnson has died, apparently of suicide. We grieve for his family, friends, church community and constituents.

Our Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting released a report on Johnson this week. Our aim, as always, is to provide the public with fact-based, unbiased reporting and hold public officials accountable for their actions.

As part of our process, we reached out to Representative Johnson numerous times over the course of a seven-month investigation. He declined requests to talk about our findings."

In other words they harassed the sh1t out of this guy until they forced him into committing suicide.
He does sound guilty though.

must of had a guilty concise

Or knew that he was going to be considered guilty regardless of the facts and just couldn't take this toxic political landscape any more.

But honestly, he pings my radar - just watching and listening to him, he's the kind of guy I wouldn't allow my daughter (or son) to get too close to. His suicide post pings my radar as well. My spidey-senses pronounce him guilty as charged.

yeah like the porn star that offed herself after being harrassed for not wanting to work with a guy that had done gay sex ....

either way .... not the proper way for a someone making such a plea calling out GOD so much in his last statement .....

either Praying for Grace and Strength to deal with the false accusations or Praying for forgiveness and seeking personal redemption and accept the consequences for your actions.

Liberals Celebrate Suicide Of Rep. Dan Johnson: ‘Roy Moore Should Follow His Example’

Hilarious! The Republican candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama who lost his race on Tuesday after unproven — and vehemently denied — allegations of sexual misconduct with young women, should kill himself.

The accusations against Johnson were gross, that he woke his daughter’s friend during a sleepover in 2013 and forced himself on her, slipping his hands under her shirt and bra and putting his fingers in her vagina, according to The Washington Post. There were other troubling reports uncovered by a local media investigation into Johnson, including other charges of sexual abuse, arson and false testimony.

Horrible things, if true. But Johnson was just 57, with five children and nine grandchildren — "two in tummies," he said in his suicide note. Johnson surely should have had his day in court to face all charges and, if found guilty, been given a suitable punishment.

Kinna like being murdered by LE when you are unarmed and not a threat...

Is that what you're suggesting happened here? Like, it wasn't suicide?

What I read was someone who was mentally unstable, and if he did off himself that's kind of the ultimate conclusive proof.

I could see no other reason to bring up something like that in this thread. Any other reason would be reaching so far you'd need other people's arms on yours to reach so far.

Well,,, let's see... One would tend to think since I quoted one of Monellos posts that I was responding to him...

I fully agree. I did not realize that you were only able to receive responses from those you quoted, though. I thought this was an open discussion forum, allowing for multiple commenters regardless of who was quoted.

Carry on.
