    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Marquet Darrall Thompson, age 19, with no fixed address. On February 25, 2018, Deputy M. Beyer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Pegg Road and Midway Drive, in Lexington Park. Thompson, who was the operator of the vehicle, fled the traffic stop in his vehicle, as officers approached the car. Dep. Beyer and Corporal Potter followed Thompson into a parking lot on Gloucester Court in Lexington Park. Thompson appeared to be backing his vehicle into a parking space; Dep. Beyer exited his marked patrol car, at which time Thompson accelerated towards Dep. Beyer. Dep. Beyer was able to move out of the way before being struck; Thompson then rammed Dep. Beyer’s police vehicle. Thompson then accelerated again, and purposely struck Cpl. Potter’s police vehicle, while still occupied by Cpl. Potter. Thompson’s vehicle was located abandoned a short distance away. Neither, Cpl. Potter or Dep. Beyer sustained injuries as a result of this incident. Thompson was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Burglary 2nd Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Theft at the time of the traffic stop. Thompson is now wanted on the following additional charges:

    Assault 1st Degree (2 counts)
    Assault 2nd Degree (2 counts)
    Eluding Uniformed Police by Failing to Stop
    Eluding Uniformed Police by Fleeing on Foot
    Failure to Stop After Attended Property Damage Accident
    Failure to Return to and Remain at the Scene of a Property Damage Accident
    Driving Without a License

    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the persons pictured. On February 24, 2018, at the Lowe’s store located on Worth Avenue, in California, the suspects attempted to steal a chainsaw, but were unsuccessful. The pair was ultimately able to steal a Dyson Stick Vacuum from the business.

    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured. On February 3, 2018, at the Shoppers Food Warehouse, located on MacArthur Blvd, in California, the suspect concealed food items inside his jacket. The suspect was confronted, gave back the stolen merchandise, and fled the scene. The suspect was wearing a Redskins hat, green jacket, and blue jeans.

    LOCATED AND ARRESTED

    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Steven Goldsmith. Goldsmith age 28, with no fixed address, is a Tier 1 registered sex offender; therefore he will remain on the registry for fifteen years. There is an active arrest warrant through Garrett County, Maryland, for Goldsmith’s arrest from a violation involving his sex offender registry status. It is believed Goldsmith is possibly in the Lexington Park area.

    On February 4, 2018, at about 3:35am, deputies from the Patrol Division responded to a burglar alarm at Burchmart, located at 24686 Three Notch Road, Hollywood, Maryland. Store surveillance cameras captured the below images of the suspect.

    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the individual pictured. On January 26, 2018, the individual entered the Leonardtown McKay’s Liquor Store, located on Merchants Lane, in Leonardtown, and placed three bottles of liquor in his coat. The suspect then exited the store without paying for the items.

    On February 28, 2018 approximately 3:43 pm, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to Peppers Pet Pantry, located at 13372 H.G. Trueman Rd Dowell, MD 20629 for a fraud report. Deputies made contact with the employee who stated the suspect passed a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill had masking tape on the blue strip and appeared to be photo copied. The serial number on the bill was JF69187426B.

    The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying the subject in these pictures. The subject is described as a B/M, 5’7”- 5’9”, approximately 20 years of age, braids/ dreads that come to the bottom of the earlobe and tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a gray and black shirt w/ a matching hat.

    Charles County Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward Leading to Arrest of Theft Suspect

    Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying a man suspected of using stolen credit cards and debit cards at various locations throughout Virginia. The cards had been stolen from unlocked vehicles in the Swan Point community between March 3 – March 4. The suspect used the cards at gas stations, convenience stores, Home Depot, Target, Wal-Mart, and other businesses. Some of the locations include Ashland, Doswell, Glen Allen, King George County, and Richmond. Surveillance footage revealed the suspect was operating a black Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon XL.     The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a burglary that occurred on February 20, 2018, in the 27000 block of Thompson’s Corner Road, in Mechanicsville. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s garage and stole a 2014 Honda 400EX ATV, (pictured).

    The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the persons pictured. On February 9, 2018, a customer was shopping at Harris Teeter, located in California, when the victim was approached by suspect #1, who engaged the victim in conversation. While the victim was distracted, a second suspect approached, and stole the victim’s wallet, which was inside a purse in the shopping cart. The suspects then went to two surrounding businesses and used the victim’s credit cards to purchase over $2,500 in merchandise and gift cards.
