Cleaning up my dad's house and stumbled across this postcard:

Not even sure what became of the cow, although I have heard it's around here somewhere.

And noticed that the motel changed names yet again, no longer a Days Inn.

IMHO it should be raised and burned to the ground. I wonder if the pool looks like that or if it's not been filled in.
It just looks like a flea bag dump now. Shame, look at the dining room then and thin about the last time you were in there.

Time to clear the lot and rebuild. Only way to get rid of the roaches.

It's a Motel 6 now.

The copyright date on the back shows 1971 which looks right as it was about the time my family moved to LP City and how I remember it.

I noticed that too. not top ten in Maryland. top 10 in America
