For DirecTV they start with HBO on 501 and go up from there. Cinemax is right after the HBOs but before the STARZ channels.

You can use on demand for the preview weekend as well. That means you can binge an entire series if you want. They used to let you “record” from on demand and keep it on your DVR for a month, but they put an end to that last time I checked.
