    Time reporterís insulting question backfires

The reporter asked if Trump now considered Kim Jong Un his equal because POTUS had shown him a video of how the dictatorís country could look with future peace and prosperity. Confusing question? Ridiculous, actually, but President Trump responded with one of the most powerful statements to date about the historic event.

ďIf I have to say Iím sitting on a stage with Chairman Kim and thatís going to get us to save 30 million lives ó maybe more than that ó Iím willing to sit on the stage,Ē President Trump said. ďIím willing to travel to Singapore very proudly, very gladly.Ē

The liberal media is already trying to marginalize President Trumpís historic victory in bringing the reclusive North Korean dictator to the negotiating table by saying Kim ďalready wonĒ by having a photo-op with a sitting United States president.

But Trump said heís more than happy to make the 21-hour flight to Singapore if that means saving the lives of millions of people and advancing world peace.

He explained: ďIf I can save millions of lives by coming here, sitting down, and establishing a relationship with someone whoís a very powerful man ó whoís got firm control of a country and that country has very powerful nuclear weapons ó itís my honor to do it.Ē

Weíre tempted to suggest a conspiracy here ó but itís just liberals agreeing yet again that conservatives have hidden, evil motives, because modern liberals simply canít conceive of any other reason to disagree with the liberal consensus.

You know, almost forty years ago, Jimmy Carter helped to broker what has been a lasting peace between Egypt and Israel - who up until then was regarded as Israel's foremost and primary adversary. It was the home of the Arab League (until the peace - Arabs were very unhappy about it). Although it can be fairly said that Sadat and Begin came up with the peace - they after all are the ones the Peace Prize was given to - you could not dismiss Carter's role in the matter.

I neither can recall nor am able to find any evidence of the press belittling the matter, mocking and sneering at the event as insincere, unremarkable and so forth. Sadat, who would be remembered fondly in the West after this had a MUCH more brutal and bloody ascendancy to power. Begin himself had been a leader in the paramilitary group Irgun. I guess that might make him a former terrorist. So two men with a lot of red in their ledger came forward to wipe it clean. It really was and still is, remarkable.

Is it so very hard to at least be optimistic? What will these guys look like if in ten years, there's lasting peace on the Korean peninsula?
Wouldn't it be SMARTER to just shut up for now rather than be on the record as minimizing it all?
ďGood intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.".Daniel Webster

Sadat paid for the Peace with his life

They know we have a short attention span, and if/when things turn out quite nicely under Trump they can bury their sour grapes ignorance and it becomes merely a FB meme. The True Believers will always believe. They will always say and do what their Party handlers tell them to.

Currently the mantra is "Kim won!"

Won what? A pissing contest? I keep hearing the bots chanting this - "Kim won!" - but they don't elaborate on what exactly Kim supposedly won. The most they can sputter out is that Kim is now recognized as a legitimate world leader - duh, Beavis, Kim already WAS a legitimate leader. Trump didn't make him the head of North Korea, he already was that.

They're so brainwashed and sheeplike they make my teeth hurt.

CNN had a piece on yesterday on how Kim won because he entered the stage from the left, which they believe is the position of power.

TDS or Trump Derangement Syndrome is no joke.
    It's a serious mental disability
    It's not a figment of someone's imagination, It's real.

It's like an influenza coming out of California where most actors and people involved in the business have already been sickened by it.
Professors in liberal colleges are like typhoid Mary's.
The Democrats and many Republicans in Congress are suffering.

TJ, or Tranny is in stage 4.
DeNiro Stage 4. along with a long list of Hollywood A & B movie veterans.
    There is a cure,

If they would only start judging Trump by what he is getting done and not on their perceived fears, it would eventually cure itself.

Wife and I have been watching "The Good Fight" - which is a continuation of "The Good Wife" but without Julianna Margolies.
It was always a bit liberal - even the writers admit that - but occasionally from time to time, they try to portray the right fairly.
I say try because even though Gary Cole - who guest stars as a forensics expert so he's fairly strong on the 2nd Amendment - and
another partner named Julius - an African-American who voted for Trump - they often treat the right as insanely crazy.

But some of the latest episodes I thought perfectly encapsulated what the left is experiencing. The firm meets with a member
of the DNC who wants to hire a law firm, should the Democrats take the House. They want to immediately move to impeachment -
and they need ideas on what to impeach the President on.

You read that right. They want to brainstorm on WHAT will work. They don't KNOW what they will bring up, they just want to
throw stuff at the wall and see what comes up. This is wrong on so many levels, it's flabbergasting. But it's consistent with what
the Democrats have done, since they have been calling for impeachment BEFORE HE EVEN was inaugurated. The whole idea of
impeachment is to remove a man guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. To get rid of a tyrant. Ultimately they decide that
a charge is irrelevant, and lies are more valuable than the truth - if someone challenges them, their response is to divert to ANOTHER
topic. One character rambles on how she is ready to take to the streets with her gun because she's just tired of him.

It more or less comes down to, the Constitution and rule of law be damned, it doesn't matter because he shouldn't BE there.
A later episode hints at the pee tape - and whether the person is part of Project Veritas or some right-wing group trying to trap
them - or if it is true. Although the episode ends suggesting the pee tape is true - they make an interesting observation......

That a person might be judged in history by the enemies they have - and the Democrats are willing to go to hookers in Moscow
and peeing on a bed and a porn star from more than ten years ago. So they decide - maybe we're better than this.

    We both shook our heads.
