Kilauea lava boiled away Big Island's largest freshwater lake

Lava from the Kilauea eruption has boiled away Hawaii’s largest freshwater lake in just a matter of hours.

In a statement released on June 2, the U.S. Geological Survey explained that lava from the eruption’s fissure 8 entered Green Lake and boiled its water away, sending a white plume high into the sky.

    From Wikipedia:
The lake was formed approximately 400 years ago in the Green Mountain crater, with a maximum depth of 200 feet (61 m). Hawaiian myths state that the lake was the first place visited by Pele, the volcano deity.[2] The lake was a popular swimming spot for locals and tourists.[3] The area surrounding Green Lake was home to kukui nut trees, guava trees, and banana trees.[4]

Ths volcano has already destroyed a thousand years of the work environmental whackos have worked on CO2 levels.
Kinda shows what little impact man has on climate change doesn't it?

Sure we need to work to clean up our air, but anyone who thinks we can stop the tides or adjust the heat is a nut.
