An FBI agent who has been pilloried by President Donald Trump and was sharply criticized in a new Justice Department watchdog report was escorted from the FBI building Friday as a disciplinary process plays out, a source familiar with the episode said.

Peter Strzok was removed last August from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian contacts with the Trump campaign after Justice's inspector general found stridently anti-Trump text messages Strzok exchanged with an FBI attorney, Lisa Page.

The story is written in a fashion that shows the desire of the author , for us to feel sorry for Poor Pete.
They were picking on him.

Of course there was no feeling of sorrow for the way Mueller went after Flynn, or Manafort, or Cohen.

I suppose it depends on who's ox is being gored.

I don't know that he broke any actual laws, but he definitely broke the mission of the agency he worked for.
Colluding in an effort to impose the lefts views in a political contest is not what the FBI is supposed to be doing.

Working to unseat a sitting President is not an FBI mission. Or at least IT SHOULDN'T BE

Strzok was only one carp in a large pond.

There are a lot more that just haven't come to light.

He is going to get booted under the same provisions as McCabe. 'Lack of candor' is an easy charge to bring in an administrative process. It doesn't require for him to have violated a criminal law, giving conflicting statements to internal investigators is enough.
