Brexit update

Banks and investment houses are already moving operations out of London.

Now Airbus is preparing to move production (and directly impact 114,000 jobs) out of the UK. Why? Simple...Brexit.

Airbus has confirmed it is considering cutting thousands of jobs in the UK as it starts to “press the button on crisis actions” over concerns about Brexit.

The company said it could ditch plans to build aircraft wings in British factories over concerns that EU regulations will no longer apply from March 2019 and uncertainty over customs procedures, instead opting to transfer production to North America, China or elsewhere in the EU.

Airbus, which directly employs 14,000 people at 25 sites in Britain and supports more than 100,000 jobs in the wider supply chain, also said a no-deal scenario would lead to “catastrophic” consequences , which could cost the company billions of pounds in delays. The firm also said it was considering stockpiling billions of pounds of parts to prepare for Brexit disruption.

On BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, Tom Williams, the chief operating officer of Airbus Commercial Aircraft, was asked if the company was planning to abandon its plans to build new wings in the UK. He replied: “We are seriously considering whether we should continue that development or we should find alternate solutions.”

As you all like to say...you get what you vote for.

BTW...the EU, India and China have instituted their retaliatory tariffs. Utterly predictable. Average American will pay, in many ways, for the incompetence of our President.

No doubt the WH staff feels the same way. Hillary is a real witch when it comes to "dealing with the help".

What you and apparently most of the liberal media fail to understand is that this isn't a problem for the voters.

It wasn't London (or City of London) that voted for Brexit. It wasn't the bankers, or the big industry tycoons dependant on cheap migrant labor. It wasn't the liberal students, or the high finance types.

It was those living in small villages and communities who were seeing their lives negatively impacted, some for decades, by being a part of the EU. And they understood there would be issues, and negative impacts related to Brexit. But a 60 year old pensioner who works part time at the Post Shop selling baked goods doesn't care that Lloyd's of London will move their headquarters to Luxembourg to keep their cushy tax breaks and direct access to the EU central banking system.

You mean the very industry, banking, that wants a unified EU so that it may continue to rape and pillage, by way of creating money out of thin air and charging interest upon it, also controlling who wins and who loses, is trying to scare the people of England into stopping Brexit? So it's not so? I say f*ck'em. Let them leave.

You progs do love your Socialist unions, even though history shows them to be a disaster. Why do you hate freedom so much? Why do you need masters? You do understand, Trans, that you are not going to be part of the ruling class, right? You're just a useful idiot who'll be camping in the bread line if you get what you think you want.

History proves this - not sure why you think you're so unique and special that it won't happen to you.

I'm surprised she can even keep any help. Hell, I probably wouldn't last a day working for that witch.

Someone explain to me how Brexit has anything to do with Trump, other than he was in favor of it.

Trump = Nationalsim
Brexit = Nationalism

Brexit = Bad = Nationalism = Bad = Trump = Bad.

You didn't think Intersectionalism was only good for keeping the gays quiet about the Muslims who would line them up and slaughter them, did you? Or keeping the calm rational liberals from shutting down the antifa thugs? Call it Intersectional Hatred.
