Prepping for Putin

After a disastrous meeting with Kim Jung Un (which Trump was obviously unprepared for), a disastrous NATO meeting (which Trump was obviously unprepared for), a disastrous meeting with the Queen (unprepared or just didn't care about protocol), our illustrious incompetent President is going to prepare for his meeting with Vladimir Putin by:

TURNBERRY/GLASGOW, Scotland (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday he hoped to play golf at his course in Scotland ahead of a summit with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin that could be overshadowed by accusations that Russians meddled in the U.S. 2016 election.

Trump to play golf as he preps for Putin summit amid Russian meddling claims

So we have a President who has spent the better part of the past 20+ years trying to build a Trump hotel in Moscow.

We have a President who will enter the meeting unprepared, as usual.

We have a enemy of America (Putin for those who don't understand) who interfered in our last election and reportedly is interfering in our current elections who will enter this meeting thoroughly prepared to take advantage of the ego that will sit across from him.

We have a meeting scheduled between these two men that has no stated purpose, goal or agenda.

We have a meeting between these two men that is being held with no one else in the room except translators.

So do you see the deal coming can't you? Trump gets his hotel in exchange for blowing up NATO or removing troops from South Korea. Since Trump doesn't give two squirts about the USA, he makes the deal and claims a glorious victory!!! (This may be hyperbole...but, if you are honest with yourself, you know damn well Trump would make that "deal".)

Hijinx...gonna get annoyed by this story like you did when our last President played golf??

You and I have very different ideas of what disastrous is. In my opinion, they were about damned close to perfect.

CBS news showed clips of "protocol oops" regarding past presidents and the Queen of England. Compared to Carter kissing the Queen on the lips, or Obama not taking the hint to shutup when their National Anthem started playing, what Trump may have done was insignificant.

Liberals are blinded to Obama's faux pa's.
It's a strange phenomenon I believe it is an allergic reaction to TDS.
Blindness brought on by hate.

(W)hich Trump was obviously unprepared for....

Okay. Gonna give you a chance to present yourself as an adult who has worked in the fields you so quickly and consistently criticize Trump on (and therefore have the expertise to level legitimate criticism). So I'm gonna take this post seriously and as possibly true (wrt the criticisms leveled) and give you the benefit of the doubt that this (and your other postings) aren't just the rants of a juvenile 40 year old living in the basement of his widowed mom's house (because, honestly, that's how you come across).

What I would like in return is a comprehensive explanation for each instance you claim Trump was obviously unprepared. So as not to get lost in the sauce, I (and other readers, no doubt) would appreciate a new post with the title of "My Analysis As To Why Trump Was Obviously Unprepared" (or something like that). Not others' words. Yours.

I DID work (for over 25 years and with great success and some notoriety) in the areas you criticize Trump for being unprepared and I can tell you he's saying what has needed to be said for YEARS whether it was Republican or Democratic administrations (not just my opinion, but also that of a large majority of military and diplomatic, below-political-appointee-level specialists).

So I'm curious. I'd like to put your bona fides up against mine. Looking forward to an engaging, adult discussion.

Best,

Yooper

Michelle Obama put her arm around the queen which is a breach of protocol. None of these small indiscretions was a big deal to anyone except the media.

I have a lot of trouble with this whole "social" thing..... :ohwell:

"inept" comes to mind.
You just need some coaching on what the various forms of "motor boating" are, and when or if each is appropriate. Keep the faith man.
