Vote yes or no. Don't give a non-vote, because you're afraid to go on record as being against something -
that you're actually - against. Or vote for something that you're actually FOR.

See, I think the Reps screwed up. They should have brought the Dems abolish ICE bill to the floor for a vote. My guess is the same number of Dems would have voted 'Present'.

See, that was my biggest beef with Obama. I just happened to stumble upon him giving the Democratic Convention keynote address in 2004 (must not have been anyone else home, I NEVER get the TV remote).

I remember being incredibly impressed, and thinking, Wow, I'm gonna watch this guy, because I think he's going places in politics. So I did.

He proceeded to do nothing. He voted "present" more times than he voted anything else.

If he couldn't make it know how he really felt about things, I surely didn't want him as president.
