It really is quite simple. Everyone is smart except Donald J. Trump. That’s why they all are billionaires and all got elected President. Only Trump does not know what he is doing. Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin. The whole crowd at MSNBC does. All the journalists do.

They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC. Nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

If you insult Putin in public, like by telling the newsmedia just before or after meeting with him that he is the Butcher of Crimea, and he messed with our elections, and is an overall jerk — then you will get nothing behind closed doors from Putin.

Um...Trump's wealth has nothing to do with his actions as President.

Trump's election has been under a cloud since day one...and that cloud has only gotten thicker.

Trump's actions as President have come under deserved and intense scrutiny.

Trump has accomplished nothing on the world stage. He has no new NAFTA agreement. He has no new TPP agreement. He has no new Iran nuclear deal. He has achieved no increase in NATO member's defense spending. To date he has achieved nothing in North Korea, with China or with Russia. Trump has lied about each and every one of these issues. Every world leader he has interacted with has gotten the best of him. The queen laughs at him...the Saudis roll out the red carpet and roll all over him. Kim Jung Un gets his photo op, is legitimized before the whole world and gets an end to US military readiness preparations. We get a piece of paper with not a single commitment.

His idiotic approach to trade is costing US workers their jobs!

Republicans are now sounding off against him and his disgraceful commentary in Helsinki. His DNI is laughing at him. The Senate voted yesterday 98-0 (98-0!!) in support of our Ambassadors and citizens as it relates to Putin's "Incredible" offer to interrogate them. Trump was actually considering turning over our people to Russian interrogators!!

Vrai, stop trying to find ways to rationalize your vote and understand what a buffoon this man is.

Trumps style is too unorthodox for them to understand.

He knows what the liberal and media reactions are going to be, monolithic, predictable and short sighted come to mind, that he can more easily set them up to shoot themselves in their own collective foot. He did this masterfully when he manipulated them into putting illegal aliens ahead of our veterans.

Like a chess match, one must anticipate and plan three to four moves in advance, and if this takes lying to Putin with a straight face to set that up, I'm good with that.
