Among the world leaders wise to satanic influences, the theory holds, is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

QAnon flirts with eschatology, fascist philosophy and the filmmaking of Francis Ford Coppola. Adherents believe a “Great Awakening” will precede the final storm foretold by Trump. Once they make sense of the information drip-fed to them by “Q,” they will usher in a Christian revival presaging total victory."

For those not caught up: QAnon is an elaborate fantasy, wherein our president is secretly working with special counsel Robert Mueller to purge a powerful deep state cabal that has exercised criminal control over the United States, and the wider world, for decades. In this sprawling story, the Russia probe is actually a clever ruse meant to distract the country while Mueller’s team conducts an investigation that will eventually sweep up thousands of villains from inside and outside the government, including figures like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The entire saga has been driven by an anonymous poster (or group of posters) named Q, who claims to be a high-level government official and drops gnomic clues on message boards like 8Chan that followers then sweatily parse. Like Pizzagate, it involves a child sex trafficking ring, controlled by possibly satanic Democrats. Some versions also mix in retro nuttery about the JFK assassination and the Federal Reserve and the Bilderberg Group and false flags. It’s like if you Vitamixed every lunatic idea that grew out of America’s fringes during the past 60 years and poured the puree into a MAGA mug.

If that weren’t enough, The Daily Show previously dug up footage of Trump from a 1994 episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous that showed the real-estate mogul discussing his 1-year-old baby Tiffany.

“Well, I think that she’s got a lot of Marla. She’s a really beautiful baby—she’s got Marla’s legs,” said Trump. Then, making a hand gesture to indicate large breasts, he added, “We don’t know whether or not she’s got this part yet, but time will tell.”

Anonymous vows to take down, expose QAnon


The anarchist hacking group slammed the QAnon conspiracy as potentially dangerous and driven by a “brainless political agenda” in a video posted Sunday to what is widely considered the most reliable Anonymous Twitter account.

“We will not sit idly by while you take advantage of the misinformed and poorly educated,” the group said in the video, which was posted with the hashtags #OpQ and #OpQAnon.
