Every single one of the primary candidates she campaigned for lost:

Cortez held a whirl-wind tour of the U.S., stumping for Abdul El-Sayed for governor of Michigan, Fayrouz Saad in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, Cori Bush in Missouri’s 1st District, and is backing Congressional candidate Kaniela Ing in Hawaii.

El-Sayed lost his bid for the Democrat nomination for governor to 51.8 percent to 30.5 percent, according to numbers published by the New York Times.

Saad came in fourth in the five-way race, capturing only 18 percent of the vote.

Cori Bush lost her primary to William Lacy Clay, 56.7 percent to 36.9 percent, the Times results show.

Hawaii’s primary election will be August 11. Stay tuned to see if Ing fairs any better.

I saw Jessica Tarlov say something which I really can't disagree with ---

The left isn't much on board with the Sanders/Ocasio-Cortez thing.
And that AOC is largely a *media* created phenomenon, rather than some kind of sweeping movement taking the party.

And that makes sense. The Dems and their constituents aren't quite ready for full on socialism, and they voted that way.
But the press would LOVE to see a big change, which is why they're playing it so hard.

What I can't get is - on paper - by her credentials - you'd think AOC is pretty smart, but I can't get over how bubble-headed she appears in person.

AOC is the new Che. Young people have latched onto her because it seems like the new "in" thing to do, and they don't really have to know what they're talking about. If someone asks why her, they just go, "Are you kidding me??" and scoff as they walk away. It's like when I was in high school and John Anderson won our class presidential poll - we didn't know doodly about him, just that it was totally rad to pick someone outside the mainstream. Ross Perot. Ralph Nader. Ron Paul. Like that.
