Roadside gun battle between Pennsylvania police, man pulled over for traffic stop

Newly released dashcam video from a police cruiser shows the moment a traffic stop turned into a near-deadly shootout between a man pulled over for speeding and two Pennsylvania state troopers last fall.

The Northampton County District Attorney's Office released the video of the Nov. 7, 2017 shooting on Thursday to media organizations six weeks after using it in the case against the driver, 22-year-old Daniel Clary.

Interesting .... why were the cops trying to cuff the guy in the 1st place

DUI.

It might have gone better for him if he'd just accepted the inevitable misdemeanor instead of tripling down for felonies.

I'd really like to know if any of the shots fired by the cops even hit his car?

Power with Control
:yay:

I came only for the shoot out ...

Gotta say, the officers didnt come off too well in that video. Should make for a great training presentation. "Right here, where Officer Bob should be ensuring that he's in a postion to prevent the suspect from making sudden moves without putting himself in an off-balance condition? And Officer Andy should be in a backup position to help ensure that Bob has control? Yeah, those things didnt happen. And seeking cover by diving over the gaurdrail only after you get shot? Maybe when the bad guy shoots your partner might be a good time for that. "
