Bolstered by a strong economy, small-business confidence is continuing to climb to record levels, even in the face of a potential trade war and an increasingly tight job market. In a deregulatory environment, jobs and the economy have become the top issue for small companies, outpacing health care and immigration, according to the latest CNBC|SurveyMonkey Small Business Survey.

Yes small business confidence is high...

The CNBC SurveyMonkey report is a joke though. Two reasons:

First, the survey is only a year old...the first report was from Q2 2017. So to say this survey is at an "all time record high" is laughable (although it is the type of statistical stupidity Gilligan would love).

Second: the survey uses political affiliation in it's report. That right there tells you it is BS.

Confidence in the economy is a wonderful example of the incompetence of Trump. Unemployment is at long term lows, inflation is still low, interest rates are still low....and still more than half of Americans disapprove of Trump on a policy and personal basis. Trump is an albatross around this country's neck.

Its high because Trump took all the albatrosses that Obama put around our necks i.e. regulations, ACA, etc. and set them free so we could do what we always do in a free economy....Hire people and pay taxes

I'm beginning to think you just don't understand the meaning of the word "incompetence", at least as it relates to the president.

Gallup says that more than half disapprove of his job performance, this is also true.

It makes you wonder what they would rather have. Are they like you, and would prefer lack of confidence, higher unemployment, lower workforce participation, less adherence to law, closer to war with nuclear-capable idiots, America-last policies? Do they like our country's political leader bowing to the leaders of other countries - both literally (in the case of Obama) and figuratively (in the case of many others)? Would they like to see ISIS a larger part of our national dialogue? Would they like to see the country's leader talk about how stupid our police are?

I have to think it is lack of information, mass media hate that causes those low numbers, not information.
