Newt Gingrich: Democrats have no idea what demons they are unleashing

A few weeks ago, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) wrote an article for Vox explaining the movement’s goals – to end capitalism and radically change America.

In normal times, the declarations of a fringe party and ideology in America would not merit much attention. However, these are not normal times. A new Gallup poll shows that 57 percent of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism – while only 47 percent view capitalism positively.

This pattern has been building for a while. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont took socialism mainstream in the party during the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries. Since then, Democratic Party candidates have been increasingly attaching themselves to the ideology.

I disagree. They (Dems pushing this agenda) know exactly what they are pushing, and those demons are the demons they adore and admire, but to them, they aren't demons at all.

This blue wave?

Are you separated from reality? It’s not a question whether Democrats will win big. The question is how big.

Not on their current course - if the Dems had just STFU and run on their usual schtick, they could have done it.
Now they have people berating innocent people, promoting socialism, claiming "America was never great", shutting down websites and pages,
burning and beating with bats, spitting at people and so on. Whether the party goes that way or not, it is not discouraging the lunatics
from violence.

If the country is still doing well in three months, there's no good reason for a shift. Anger alone won't tilt the House - and the Senate isn't changing hands.

There is nothing new about Democrats pushing Socialism.
They have been doing it for years with their entitlements, buying votes from those who don't work.

It's just that now they have come into the open.

The GOP however will need to take note of this much - in many of the primaries, the Dems have been casting votes in greater numbers.
In the PRIMARIES. It would be foolish to think if a half a million Dems show up for a given primary that MORE won't be there in the fall.

The GOP was able to halt several special elections from flipping - but some of them were squeakers.
A district that has been Republican for most of the last 100 years should not be a contest - and yet very recently - it was.
So it is something to take note of.

Two things will change the fall - one, a national event that turns the sentiment one way or another - a war, a hurricane, a stock market crash.
Those things can be very unpredictable. I don't see that Trump will end the Korean conflict or decisively change Iran - but things happen.

The other thing is - the Dems could shoot themselves in the foot, and historically, they're on course to do that. There's no "third way" Clinton type
to temper the swing to the hard left, and no voice of reason to tell the crazy lefties to stop bullying, antagonizing, spitting and fighting.
I really don't see #WalkAway playing a big difference, but their testimonies do reveal that a LOT of people are sick of the hate, and they
see it as coming from the LEFT and not the right.

I'm not counting on anything from the GOP side. They tend to be lazier during midterm elections, as a rule.

And I am counting on the Democrats to be Democrats. We'll get a lot more dead voters, 125-year-old voters and voters that can't seem to be found in the States and districts they voted in.

But, the more obnoxious, condescending and violence they get over the next three months the better. And right now they don't seem to have any control over their professional mask wearing rioting goon squad. The more violent it becomes closer to the election the better the turn out on GOP side or at least any side other than the Democrats.

Which made her Queen of the losers.

More people voted for her than Trump. This damn country has the wackiness system with an antiquated electoral college. I hope the incoming blue Congress gets rid of it. I imagine Trump will veto it.

The Electoral College was created for two reasons. The first purpose was to create a buffer between population and the selection of a President. ... The founding fathers were afraid of direct election to the Presidency. They feared a tyrant could manipulate public opinion and come to power.

Does that sound like someone that just ran for the presidential election or what...

Pretty smart men back then for a bunch of treasonous deplorables.
