A Florida teen was arrested after he allegedly stole an AR-15 and tactical gear from an unmarked Palm Beach Sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle, officials said Sunday.

A 17-year-old of Boynton Beach, flaunted the stolen weapons on an Instagram live stream as he danced to rap music, the Miami Herald reported, citing a probable cause affidavit.

Not much information in the article.

Seems this kid isn't playing with a full deck. He may as well have invited the police to arrest him.
Wonder if the police vehicle was locked?

"He left his unmarked cruiser parked at a shopping plaza for hours, according to the newspaper." So now we know the police don't responsibly control weapons either, another bonanza for criminals that can read.

Cops losing weapons is nothing new.

There was a spate of them a couple decades back with Baltimore PD. Seemed like they were making the paper for it every month.

Since then, they've either gotten better at holding on to them or learned to hide it better.
