Future uncertain for Truex in 2019

5 Hour Energy will not be sponsoring Truex beyond their 14 race deal this year, and Barney Vissar has said he will not use his own money to keep the team together. While the hunt for a sponsor is ongoing, It's possible JGR may give Suarez the axe to make room for Truex, or JGR may recruit Leavine Family Racing to Toyota, and replace out going Kasey Kahne with Martin Truex Jr.

It's official. Furniture Row Racing will cease operations and not field a car in 2019. Truex is a free agent for next year.

A championship team can't find sponsorship 2 years later with the same equipment and driver! Why? Has NASCAR gotten the costs so high that potential sponsors split their dollars among different non-racing ventures? Is it because NASCAR has sent the masses packing with their cookie cutter cars, identical tracks, and anal rules? Is it because the millennial fan never materialized since there is no brand loyalty? Yes to all. Television coverage very seldom scans the stands because NASCAR does not want the viewers to see the half empty venues.

You forgot turning their backs on their fan base and selling out to Toyota, otherwise that pretty much sums it up.
