Even Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler got in on the act and said that going by Harvard’s methodology, “the actual excess death count could be as low as 793 and as high as 8,498.”

As Twitchy reported, researchers took one number — 15 deaths identified from a survey of 3,299 households — and extrapolated that to come up with 4,645 deaths across the island. That’s pretty sketchy. But that was enough for Sally Kohn to claim more than 5,000 had died.

NBC News has been tweeting about Trump’s tweets today and finds that George Washington University, which was commissioned by Puerto Rico to come up with a death toll, is standing by its research and its death toll of 2,975.

So using the same statistical analysis method used for Hurricane Maria, what is the expected death toll from Hurricane Florence? The current number is what... 37?

100 killed by the storm. 2900 killed by their inept provincial government.

I've mentioned this before. I work with a guy who was born and raised in PR. His family still lives there. I talked to him a few days ago about what's going on there. I asked him if he blames Trump for the lack of response. He said 'absolutely not'. I asked if he blames Obama. No. He said what's going on in PR is decades of neglect to their infrastructure and corrupt government. Most of the people that died and are dying are people with medical conditions and elderly that need medical care and can't get it because the hospitals and medical facilities just aren't there. They were never built to handle such disasters. Electrical grids and water systems... same thing. Rather than focus their efforts on infrastructure, the government would rather spend tax dollars on parks and golf courses and such.

This is no fault of any president or anything this country's government is doing. The corruption in PR has been going on for decades, and they will continue to have these problems, and high death tolls, until the people of PR do something about their corruption.

So basically anyone who died during or anytime after the hurricane, up to and including today, are counted as victims of the hurricane because Trump hates brown people?
