Big cities

Currently we are in Indianapolis, Indiana. It's a capitol city. I'm pretty sure it's the biggest city in the state. And we got to talking about big cities on the coasts compared to midwest cities. So what are the big US cities?

So we agree that NY & LA are the big 2. Then Chicago comes next. So who's 4th? I'd go with DC. It's not huge in size but more for importance. 5 through 10 are toss up. Philly, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, St Louis, Seattle, take your pick.

I feel like big cities like Boston and DC are further down on that list because there's less square mileage to the actual "city limits" and therefor restricts how many people can actually LIVE INSIDE of those city limits. No? Like Boston and DC have dozens of burroughs just outside of the actual city limits. All of those burroughs contribute to and are active parts of the actual city. Only dedicated and long-term residents of those burroughs will know them all but most people will just state, eh I live in DC when they actually live in Woodley Park :shrug:
